Washington, D.C. – In the early morning hours Friday, February 9, 2018, the Continuing Resolution spending bill was signed by President Trump. One of the measures in the bill includes an extension the tax credits for both residential and commercial on geothermal energy. The reinstated tax credits are retroactive to January 1, 2017 and extend to January 1, 2022. Special consideration has also been given to commercial projects if they commenced by January 1, 2022.
